April 17, 2020, 7 PM @ Columbia Theater
1231 Vandercook Way, Longview, WA 98632
This show is about more than just bad-ass music in this amazing venue.
The Social enterprise Designed Conviction, founded by Longview native, Taylor Conley, is a platform to showcase stories of change and show that incarcerated individuals are people too. Art changes lives.
Roughneck Country star Seth Anthony is coming to the Columbia Theater to headline the "Free Taylor" show.
Get ready for a powerful performance by Seth Anthony and his band, who are traveling across the country, coming from Florida to support the cause. Seth's music comes from past experiences. He was formerly incarcerated and spent many years locked up in prison. He is an example of change; he has overcome adversity and is on his way to becoming a superstar.
Guest speaker: Dave Dahl, former addict, ex-con, musician, baker, and businessman, known for co-founding Dave's Killer Bread.
Taylor is serving life without parole in a Washington State prison. Arrested at the age of 20 in 2006, he was wrongly convicted, though he takes responsibility for his actions that lead him to where he is today. He is living proof that people change; he has not given up and done so much with his time.
With the current laws and justice system the way they are, Taylor and 1300 other individuals across Washington State will never have another chance.
